Samsung’s flagship smartphones are receiving the One UI 3.1.1 upgrade discreetly.
SamMobile, a Samsung fan community, discovered the update has gone out to the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy Note 20 series of smartphones.
One UI 3.1.1 improves performance, adds new features, and makes other minor changes to smartphones. The smartphones now have a faster app opening speed, camera, fingerprint reader, and better heat management, according to SamMobile.
The user interface, as well as some of the base apps, have been updated. To add a personal touch, users can now customize their call screen with any video or image. The design and color of the clock on the Always On Display and Lock screen can also be customized to meet the demands of the user.
The Camera app has been updated to include a new Night Mode for low-light photography, as well as new settings and effects, such as blurring the background on portraits, that are applied automatically.
The Weekly Report, Driving Mode, and Bedtime Mode are all new features.
The Weekly Report shows users their app usage patterns, which might help them change their phone behaviors. Drivers focused on the road by automatically replying to texts with driving mode, while Bedtime mode prevents notifications from being sent late at night.
People may be unaware of the update due to the quiet nature of the rollout. By heading to Software updates under the Settings menu, device owners can manually check for the newest update.
