iOS users, in particular, are switching to new Samsung phones.
Starting with some Samsung phones, WhatsApp is finally introducing the ability to transfer messages between iOS and Android.
For a long time, the ability to safely move WhatsApp content between operating systems has been a community dream, and WhatsApp is finally making it possible. Samsung phones running Android 10 or higher will be the first to be able to transfer messages across Android and iOS, according to WhatsApp.
The feature will soon be available on more Android handsets, according to WhatsApp. WhatsApp states that your messages will not be sent to the company when you transfer them. Instead, thanks to the application’s end-to-end encryption, they will be fully safe.
Voice messages, photos, and videos are all included in the process, so all of your stuff may be moved.
When users switch their account to a new device that matches the above conditions, the new feature will be available automatically.
According to WhatsApp, you must use the same phone number on the new smartphone as you did on the previous one, and it must be set up with new or factory settings. This feature needs a USB-C to Lightning cable.
The ability to transfer your WhatsApp content is now accessible, so users should be able to use it to transfer their messages and any sent media without fear of malicious actors gaining access to it.
